Love Island fans left baffled as 'sheep noises' interrupts ITV broadcast

It was a dramatic week on Love Islandthis week, with tears, arguments and shock exits. However, one of the most surprising moments of the week was unexplained sheep noises in the background, according to fans.

Tuesday's episode (July 15) was a dramatic one, as viewers were left 'disgusted' when Harry and Helena passed Harrison and Lauren a condom in the middle of the night. However, some fans were more fixated on the sheep noises in the background...

During the episode, Shakira and Ty had a chat in which she ended things with him, telling him she was more into Conor. It came at an incredibly awkward time as they'd just been voted most compatible by the public, and had chosen to dump Ben and Andrada from the Island.

However, it seemed like there were other's in their chat, as fans were baffled at the sheep noises they could hear...

"Did anyone else hear sheep on tonight’s episode (while Shakira and Ty were chatting)? I even rewatched to make sure I wasn’t hearing things," one fan wrote on Reddit - and a flurry of fans had the same question.

"OMGG I thought it was outside but I literally live in a main road," said a second, while a third claimed: "I live in the states in an area with no sheep (that I know of lol) and I too thought it was outside for a second."

"Literally I had to keep pausing to check if they were outside," another laughed, while a fourth said: "This is hilarious I heard this too!!! I had AirPods in & thought I was going crazy!!!!"

Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, fans were having the same conversation, as another suspected: "Haha I assume it was picked up on the mics? It must have been so loud there."

"IS THERE A NEW BOMBSHELL THAT ARE SHEEP ???" another joked.

It was an emotional night for Shakira last night, as she had her first big argument with Conor, which left her in tears. It came after the Couple of Sorts game, as Conor wanted to clarify Harrison's comments about her having stronger feelings for Harry than him.

“It’s been twisted and you’ve wanted to believe the boys straight away. It’s ego and pride. Wake up Conor. They’re literally the biggest game players here. When have I ever lied to you?" she firmly replied.

In tears, she went to Toni for comfort, as she cried: “I don’t want to be surrounded by them all the time. For Conor to straight off the cuff believe them… We’ve been friends for weeks…”
