British luxury marque Range Rover has launched the exclusive Range Rover SV Masara Edition in India, priced at Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom). This ultra-luxurious SUV is limited to just 12 units nationwide. Interested customers can book the SUV by visiting their nearest authorised dealerships, while delivery timelines will be announced shortly. This latest ultra-limited bespoke SUV is crafted specially for India and is handcrafted by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division.
Range Rover says that the name Masāra has its origin in Sanskrit and takes inspiration from the rare Sapphires from the Himalayan region. The luxury SUV features a deep satin blue exterior paint finish, that takes inspiration from the unique sapphires found in the Himalayan region and the soft but deep tones of the blue mountainous region. The opulent blue exterior is complemented by the bespoke finish pack of silver chrome and the warm tones of Corinthian Bronze. The colour effect is extended to the roof and mirror caps, and the “RANGE ROVER” badge on the bonnet and tailgate is finished in copper. The SUV also comes with massive 23-inch Oblivion 1077 diamond-turned wheels with gloss dark grey contrast and black callipers.
Moving inside, the luxury SUV gets SV Bespoke luxury and craftsmanship treatment with a combination of dark blue and beige cabin with contrast stitching. One of the standout elements is the use of light cream Ash Burr veneer, which sweeps across the cabin, adding a sense of natural warmth and radiant texture. This rich, open-pore wood finish elevates the ambience, offering a tactile reminder of handcrafted attention to detail.
What sets the Masāra Edition apart are its bespoke touches. This limited-edition SUV features exclusive paint options, custom accents, and specially designed alloy wheels. The seats are unique to this variant, distinguished by intricate embroidery and paired with personalised scatter cushions that add both comfort and character. Additional exclusivity comes in the form of SV Bespoke-branded tread plates, clearly marking each unit with a ‘Masāra Edition’ script and an individual ‘1 of 12’ designation—underlining the rarity of this highly limited run.
The Masāra Edition will be offered in a four-seater layout, designed to offer a true first-class experience. At the rear, a fixed centre console separates two individual lounge-style seats, emphasising comfort and exclusivity. Enhancing the rear cabin ambience further are two premium cushions—one in blue, the other in beige—each embossed with the Masāra Edition signature. In terms of features, the luxury SUV gets a 13.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, rear entertainment 11.4-inch touchscreens, a 35-speaker, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System with active noise cancellation, an 8-inch touchscreen controller that adjusts the rear seats, Cabin air purification, Digital LED' headlights with DRLs, 3D Surround Camera system and more.
Talking about the powertrain, the Range Rover Masara edition is powered by a 4.4-litre, V8 twin-turbo petrol engine which puts out 615 PS of power and 750Nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels.
