Royal Enfield Classic 650 twin on-road prices in top cities: Delhi, Mumbai and more

Royal Enfield recently launched the new Royal Enfield Classic 650 in the Indian market. The bookings for the bike are already underway, interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest RE dealership. Deliveries will begin soon. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin can is offered in four colour options - Bruntingthorpe Blue priced at Rs Rs 3.37 lakh, Vallam Red at Rs 3.37 lakh, Teal at Rs 3.41 lakh and Black Chrome priced at Rs 3.50 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

In this article, let’s look at the on-road prices of the Royal Enfield Classic 650 in the top 10 cities in India. The on-road prices mentioned below are for the top-tier Black Chrome.

Let’s start with Bengaluru, the on-road price of the RE Classic 650 Black chrome is Rs 4.4 lakh. In Delhi the bike costs Rs 4 lakh, in Mumbai it costs Rs 4.14 lakh, in Chennai it costs Rs 4.15 lakh, in Hyderabad the Classic 650 costs Rs 4.14 lakh, in Kolkata it costs 4.07 lakh, in Lucknow it costs Rs 4.06 lakh, in Jaipur the bike costs Rs 4.31 lakh, in Kochi it costs Rs 4.45 lakh, in Ahmedabad the bike costs Rs 3.88 lakh and in Indore, the Classic 650 costs Re 4 lakh (All prices mentioned here are on-road, please note that the prices are gathered from local dealers and prices might vary a little).

The new Royal Enfield Classic 650 is powered by a tried-and-tested air/oil-cooled, 648cc, twin-cylinder engine which puts out 47hp of power and 52.3Nm torque. The same engine also powers the Interceptor 650, Continental 650, Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650.

The new RE Classic 650 rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels fitted with tube-type tyres. These are wrapped in specially developed NyloHigh tyres from MRF, tailored exclusively for this model. Suspension duties at the front are handled by a 43mm telescopic fork—right-side-up, unlike the Shotgun’s USD setup—offering 120mm of travel. The rear setup features twin shock absorbers borrowed from the Shotgun as well, with 90mm of movement. Topping up its 14.7-litre fuel tank brings the bike’s weight to a hefty 243kg.

In terms of features, the Classic 650 gets the same features found on the 350cc version. It includes the same digi-analogue instrument cluster, Tripper navigation pod, and USB charging port. Additionally, it gets a slip-and-assist clutch.
