The 47th match of IPL 2025 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans (GT) was wrapped up in a lightning quick time, where the hosts chased down a massive target of 210 runs well within 16 overs to secure their third victory of the season in the fixture at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday, April 28.
The RR openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, gave the hosts a fiery start by smashing the GT bowlers to all parts of the ground at Jaipur.
The 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the standout performer who broke multiple records and etched his name into the history books. He smashed a breathtaking half-century in just 17 balls by becoming the youngest player ever to score a fifty in IPL history. He went on to register a century in just 37 balls by making it the second-fastest century in IPL history. His magnificent 101-run knock featured 94 runs from boundaries alone which included 11 sixes and 7 fours and he scored at a staggering strike rate of 265.79.
At the other end, Yashasvi Jaiswal provided excellent support by scoring a fluent 70 off 40 balls. RR skipper Riyan Parag finished the chase in style with a quick-fire 32 off just 15 balls. The 2008 champions hunted down the 210-run target in just 15.5 overs by recording a historical chase.

With this loss, GT suffered their third defeat of the season but stood at the third place in the . Meanwhile, RR moved up to eighth position by keeping their slim hopes for playoffs chance alive.
