Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan, and her husband, Aayush Sharma, live in a sprawling property in Mumbai and during a recent vlog on Farah Khan’s YouTube channel, Aayush described his house as " Mumbai ka Dubai.”
He shared that they fired their in-house chef because they realised that it would be cheaper to order food from their building’s restaurant than pay his salary. Arpita revealed that their house also gets a daily dabba from Salman Khan’s house, and since Aayush can’t live without Indian food, they recently flew with a chef for their vacation to Finland, where they lived in a villa.
In the vlog, Farah and her cook, Dilip, were completely in awe as they visited the gigantic house owned by Arpita and Aayush, and Farah instantly commented that their kids could play cricket and football in the lobby of the house. As Farah was appreciating the size of the house, Aayush commented, “She makes big houses everywhere she goes, but she only sits in three places in that big house.”
Farah wondered who prepares their meals in their fancy kitchen, which has four air conditioners and three fridges, and Aayush shared that he fired his chef after he learnt his salary. “We used to have a cook, Montu ji. One day, I asked Arpita how much we pay him, and when she told me, I got a heart attack. It’s cheaper to order food from our building restaurant.” Farah was genuinely surprised to learn that they have a private restaurant in their building, and she said, “You really are very rich.”
Arpita then revealed that they get daily dabbas from Salman Khan’ house, which is prepared by his mother, Salma Khan. Arpita said that she sends food to brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan as well. They shared that she also sends food to the set when her kids are shooting, and she does the same for Aayush as well. When asked if there was a set menu for this, Arpita said that they usually get whatever is prepared, but if Aayush has a special request, he can tell her about it.
Aayush said that when they started dating, Arpita and Aayush couldn’t see eye to eye about their food choices but now, when they travel abroad, they travel with a chef. “We took a chef to Finland because we can’t mange otherwise,” they shared and as Farah wondered how the chef cooked in an igloo, Arpita casually shared, “We stayed in a villa.”
