Money and fame can bring success, but they also bring scrutiny. On the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, some of India’s top entrepreneurs—including Paytm's CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma, boAT's co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta, OYO Room's CEO Ritesh Agarwal, and Mamaearth's co-founder Ghazal Alagh—opened up about how wealth changes relationships. Behind the laughs and banter, the stars revealed the challenges of being judged by friends and family once success arrives, showing that the personal cost of fortune can be as real as the financial rewards.

Aman Gupta about money and personal relationships
In a behind-the-scenes clip shared on YouTube, Kapil asked whether relationships change when money comes in. Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, explained that wealth often brings judgment from those around you. People may comment that he has “become a big man,” but he believes he was always confident in his own worth. He shared that his mother’s advice keeps him grounded, reminding him that even great pride, like Ravan’s, does not last, and that downfall begins when success goes to one’s head.

Aman Gupta, co-founder of electronics brand boAt, playfully revealed his company’s product development. He shared that his research and development team use Archana Puran Singh’s iconic, boisterous laughter to test a new range of noise-cancellation headphones. During a lighthearted exchange on the show, the actress reacted with her signature humour, joking about wanting a stake in the company. The host, Kapil Sharma, added to the fun, noting that instead of equity, she and her husband will receive a pair of headphones each.
