Morena (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday announced that cheetahs will now be released in the Chambal region as well. This move is expected to boost tourism and create new job opportunities for local residents.
The decision comes after the success of the cheetah project in Kuno.
Speaking to the media during his Morena visit, CM Yadav informed that the Chambal region’s climate is well-suited for cheetahs. He highlighted that the cheetah population in the region has shown 80% growth.
Notably, this is a rare achievement unmatched by any other country.
