Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh is currently experiencing a strong rain system, leading to flood-like conditions in many districts.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for torrential rainfall in 7 districts, including Mandla, on Friday.
There is a possibility of up to 8 inches of rain in the next 24 hours. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue across the state for the next four days.

What do meteorologists say?
Senior meteorologist explained that two monsoon troughs are currently passing through Madhya Pradesh, along with an active cyclonic circulation system. Due to this, the rainfall system is very strong, and alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall have been issued for several districts over the next few days.
People are advised to stay updated with local weather reports, avoid flood-prone areas, and take necessary precautions.
