The long-standing demand of passengers from Nashik, Manmad, Lasalgaon and Igatpuri to increase the number of coaches in the 'Rajya Rani Express' running between Nanded and Mumbai has finally been fulfilled.
MP Rajabhau Waje's consistent follow-up with the railway administration has been successful, and now five additional coaches will be added to the Rajya Rani Express. This will eliminate a major inconvenience for railway passengers.
Thousands of passengers travel by Rajya Rani Express every day. This train service is considered very important for the citizens of cities like Nashik, Manmad, Igatpuri. However, due to limited coaches, passengers had to face huge crowd every day. MP Waje paid serious attention to this problem of passengers. He raised this issue effectively by continuously contacting South Central Railway, Bhusawal Division and Railway Headquarters. His clear demand was that the Railway Administration should increase the number of coaches.

Following the follow-up of MP Waje, on Tuesday (July 15) as per the letter of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) and as per the report of Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) of South Central Railway, it has been decided to increase the number of coaches of Rajya Rani Express keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers, inconvenience and insecurity in travel.
The proposed coach composition will be as follows:
Second Seating (2S) coaches: will increase from 2 to 6.
General Coach (GS): will increase from 4 to 7.
Total number of coaches: will increase from 17 to 22.
This decision will help in making the journey of thousands of passengers in the district including Nashik more comfortable. This decision has also been approved by the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Bhusawal division. The revised structure will be implemented soon.

Speaking about this success, MP Rajabhau Waje said, "Tapovan, Rajya Rani and Panchavati Express trains are the lifeline of Nashik. However, due to political apathy, the condition of these trains has become very miserable in the last few days. I am continuing to follow up to restore them to their former glory."
These additional coaches will provide great relief to the daily commuters in Nashik area, especially those who travel to Mumbai for work.
