Phil Salt pulled off a brilliant fielding effort to deny six to Yashasvi Jaiswal during the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday, April 13.
The incident happened on the final ball of the 12 over bowled by Kruunal Pandya. A short delivery by Krunal saw Jaiswal mistiming the slog-pull as the ball rushed on him. Salt, who was right on the edge at deep mid-wicket, jumped high and caught it but couldn't control it as he pushed it back inside the field of play. Salt's presence of mind to quickly release the ball not only saved five runs for the team but also gave lifeline to Jaiswal
