Worldwide, more than 700 shooters and other gangsters are associated with this gang. Even though the gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi himself has been in jail for the last one and a half years, he gets his men to commit every crime from his jail. Many gang leaders like Anmol Vishnoi, Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara, Sachin Thapan are operating the gang from abroad and are making new youth join the gang and make them commit crimes.
Lawrence gang asks for extortion money only from these people
Before recruiting new youth, the gang members contact them through social media and then make them talk to criminals like Rohit Godara gangster and make them commit crimes by luring them with money. People associated with this gang mostly demand extortion money from people related to Bollywood or film industry or from builders and industrialists.
Extortion money from 50 lakhs to 10 crores
The extortion money of this gang ranges from 50 lakhs to 10 crores. The gang demands ransom of 5 to 10 crores from owners of big showrooms and companies, 2 to 5 crores from builders, 1 to 2 crores from jewellery showroom owners, 50 lakhs to 1 crore from or hotel owners.
If nobody gives money then Lawrence gang takes this step
First of all, the gang leaders sitting abroad call their victims from foreign numbers. Either someone gives them money out of fear. If someone does not give money, then the gang members talk to their members at the local level and then carry out incidents like firing so that the victim gets scared and gives money.
