Fans of were quick to claim they had worked out one act's trick on Saturday night.

, who has previously performed on Canada's Got Talent, entered the stage with her mouth taped shut. She wasted no time in heading down to the judges' panel and taping Simon Cowell's mouth too.

His fellow judges Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden were in hysterics, while Alesha was also left asking Alexandra if she could speak to which she replied no. Host had predicted the move that she would tape "all of the judges' mouths shut" while her only target was Simon.

As she did it Alesha told her: "Go on girl," as Amanda cheered loudly, with the audience doing so too. Simon shrugged and laughed, as auditionee Alexandra began celebratory dancing over her antics with the crowd laughing along.

On the stage with Alexandra were two giant boards, one containing a number of cards on. Each card appeared to be blank or turned over, while the words "lip service" were also written at the top of the board.

On the other board were two columns with different things noted on each side of the table. Included were the words "odd" and "even", as well as some numbers, the colours "red" and "black" as well as the symbols diamond, heart, spade and club like on a pack of cards.

As she began her trick she picked up what looked like balloons or light balls before throwing them out to the audience. Those who got them had to choose from the words and numbers on the board.

All that remained was "even", the number eight, the colour red and the heart symbol. She then got the audience to shout all this out as she pointed, before taking the tape off of her mouth.

After coughing, she pulled a card out of her mouth which had seemingly been there the whole time. Once opened, it was a red eight of hearts card.

The audience screamed out in shock, with hosts Ant and Dec calling it brilliant. Alesha asked: "How did she do that?" Alexandra then apologised to Simon for taping his mouth shut before giving him a final task.

She gave him a laser and asked him to point the red light at one of the cards on the other board, which all had words on. He chose a card with the word "fierce" written on, before she showed him all the other cards on the board he could have chosen to reveal they were not blank.

Alexandra then came down to Simon and removed the tape from his mouth and showed the camera what word was written on it. The crowd erupted and Simon looked shellshocked as the word "fierce" was written in blue ink on the inside of tape that had been on Simon's face.

But fans were quick to rumble her earlier card trick, saying they had seen the specific moment the trickery happened. They claimed it was "a simple card switch" undetected by most, and that's how she got the right card seemingly chosen at random by the audience.

One viewer posted: "All that build up to a simple card switch." Another agreed: "Just saw the switch there," as a third added: "They cutaway from the close up when she did the card switch on the first trick."

Another fan suggested they'd seen her perform the same trick before, telling fans: "She was in the semis of Canada's Got Talent, you can see what she did there, Bruno." As for the word trick, one fan claimed: "What a surprise. It's not like all those cards had the same word on them."
