Celebrity Big Brother hit with over 1,000 Ofcom complaints over Mickey Rourke's homophobic slur

Now, official Ofcom figures reveal that the episode received 1,010 Ofcom complaints. The live launch, which aired on April 7 received 78 complaints.

During the launch, Mickey as he appeared to briefly gyrate against AJ's behind before eyeing her up and down during his introduction to the crowd.

Despite Mickey's apology following his comments towards JoJo, he was removed from the house just days later following "instances of unacceptable behaviour."
