Celebrity SAS winner, Lucy Spraggan, has revealed she suffered a gruesome injury on the show, which affected her wedding. The X Factor star, 34, was put through her paces on the Channel 4 endurance series, which she ended up winning along with convicted drug smuggler Michaella McCollum and ex-professional footballer Troy Deeney.
While Lucy left the show victorious, she only had four days to prepare for her wedding to her wife, Emilia, back in June. And unfortunately, she had injured her hand so badly on the series, she told us she struggled to get her wedding ring on.
Speaking to the Mirror about the ordeal, she shared: "We got married the day after. I was [exhausted] and like, our hands were all so wrecked that my wedding ring didn't go on. When I got home, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is bad!’ It took a week [for it to heal]. It was gross."

But this wasn't the only injury the X Factor picked up. In truly horrific scenes, Lucy was seen on the show, doubled over in pain, clutching her crotch and telling her fellow celebs: ‘I’ve cut my labia, on the harness, yeah fully it’s bleeding.’
The singer's wound was caused by a harness during a stunt, and due to the level of bleeding and intensity of the show, she recalled her ‘dignity had gone’ when the doctor came over to inspect her.
In happier news, Lucy told us she made some great friends on the show, who came to her wedding, in which Simon Cowell gave her away.
Revealing that Drag Race star, Bimini Bon-Boulash, Michaela and Adam Collard all attended the nuptials, she added: "Troy sent me a really lovely message the other day.
"And also, Michaela and Adam and Bimini, we're in a little group, and we talk all the time. I’ll be friends with those guys for life."
And it seems her showbiz circle is all supportive as the singer revealed that fellow X Factor star, Olly Murs had sent her a sweet message while the show was on.
Explaining that he had contacted her after she supported him at his gig in Bristol, she said: "Olly Murs sent me a really nice little DM because I supported him the other day.
"And we chatted about it and he was like: 'Don't, don't give up and don't tell me the ending.
"And then he voice-noted me and just said: 'Respect' basically."
