Liam Gallagher has spared rumours Oasis will tour again in 2026 by telling fans at Wembley "see you next year".
Oasis are ending their Summer tour dates in style this weekend with two final shows at Wembley stadium.
And introducing the final song on Saturday night, Champagne Supernova, Liam added: "See you next year."
Rumours persist that the band will be back on stage in 2026 in the UK, with fans hoping they may play the Etihad stadium in Manchester and Knebworth, the venue they famously played in 1996. Next year would therefore be the 30th anniversary.
The current tour has seen the band receive rave reviews and there was almost unprecedented demand for tickets as they played venues in their hometown of Manchester, Edinburgh, Dublin and Cardiff where the tour began on July 4.

After a break of 16 years the band line up on the tour is frontman Liam with brother Noel playing lead guitar along with guitarists Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell as well as new drummer Joey Waronker wowing the crowd.
The tour features a total of 41 shows with a combined audience of close to three million.
The Oasis comeback was also so emotional in Cardiff that even Noel Gallagher looked choked up at times on stage and admitted later his legs went to jelly.

During Saturday night's Wembley show, Oasis also paid tribute to boxing icon Ricky Hatton with a heartwrenching mention on stage.
A photo of Hatton appeared on the big screen while the band were playing their iconic track Live Forever. After that, Wembley Stadium's official social media page shared an image of Oasis's tribute, along with the words: "For Ricky' and a blue love heart.
Earlier on in the evening, Manchester-based artist Richard Ashcroft is thought to have dedicated Bittersweet Symphony toHatton, who passed away on Sunday, September 14.
After Wembley they now have almost a month off until the head to play dates in Australia and Asia. The first dates are in South Korea on October 25 and then onto Japan before going Down Under.
It comes after the Mirror revealed that footage of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s landmark first meeting after years of fighting will feature in a movie of the band’s reunion.
Sources say the initial tension and uncertainty between the two was caught on film – and that Oasis fans will be “spellbound” by how the brothers’ feud thawed.
The band reformed and announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last summer to fanfare. The shock move to reunite came from Liam’s decision to say sorry to Noel, with his long-term partner Debbie Gwyther playing a key part. The insider says: “Debbie certainly doesn’t take any s**t and arguably has kept everything rolling smoothly.”
