Newsboy's horse racing selections for Sunday's meetings at Carlisle and Huntingdon

MOON CHIME (3.58, nap) is fancied to defy top weight to make a winning return to the fray in the Paul Harrington 50th Birthday Celebrations Handicap Hurdle at Carlisle on Sunday.

The son of Pether’s Moon, who was a useful dual bumper winner, signed off for last season with victories in a Huntingdon maiden hurdle and a novice event at Newcastle.

The David Killahena and Graeme McPherson trainee still has the improvement to go past a British Horseracing Authority mark of 117, which is potentially lenient.

Earlier at the Cumbrian track, MY BOBBY DAZZLER (2.18, nb) is taken to land the Stephex Trucks UK Castletown Handicap Hurdle on his seasonal reappearance.

The Mel Rowley-trained nine-year-old has been a fairly useful hurdler and chaser in recent seasons, and he was last seen finishing a good second of 16 over three miles at Haydock in May.

A 3 lb nudge for that near miss looks fair if he's ready to roll after six months off.
