Olivier Awards honour Linda Nolan in emotional segment three months after her death

Linda, who worked as a for the after her long time in showbiz, died at the age of just 65 from double pneumonia, with her immune system left weakened by her cancer and treatment.

The star had a sparkling career on stage with and as a theatre actress, having performed in the likes of Blood Brothers, Prisoner: Cell Block H and appearing on dozens of popular TV shows.

The Olivier Awards are taking place this evening, and the organisers have rightly remembered Linda’s commitment to the arts by including her in this year’s ‘In Memoriam’ segment.

For those not attending the ceremony at the in London or following along at home, Linda has featured on the award show’s website in a gallery to “acknowledge members of the theatre community who have left us from 4 April 2024 through to 10 days before the Olivier Awards 2025.”

Linda is featured in a black and white image with flawless makeup and sparkly earrings, with her memorial reading: “Linda Nolan. Actor & Recording Artist.”

This isn’t the only way Linda will be remembered after her death, with the Nolan family revealing that they’ve on February 23 - inspired by the way they honour their other .

"It was very emotional, very sad, but on the other hand it was kind of joyous as well. I mean, she picked her own coffin, the pink glittery coffin was her idea,” Anne revealed.

She then shared: “Oh the other thing she wanted, she wanted us to wear mantillas. You know, the scarf things that you wear? The lace things? So my daughter and Coleen actually ordered them online.

“When they came, we chatted about it, and we said, ‘I think she might’ve been having a laugh there!' I don’t really think she wanted us to wear mantilla, so we didn’t wear them. But, that was the kind of humour she had.”
