actress recently called out the "cheap" impersonation of herself during a (SNL) sketch. Now, one of the sketch artists from the long-running show has reached out to the actress.
Earlier in the month, comedians in the stateside show made fun of her teeth. However, Aimee has since hit back, calling the scenes “mean and unfunny”.
Now, Aimee Lou has shared a gesture by Sarah Sherman on . Taking to her Stories, the actress uploaded a bouquet of flowers sent to her from the comedian, 32.She captioned the post: "Thank you for the beautiful flowers @sarahsquirm," while sharing a number of emojis, including a pink love heart.

She then made a "joke" about not knowing the meaning of the word “flouride”. However, Aimee Lou was far from impressed and certainly didn't see the funny side of the sketch.
Hitting back at the show after the skit titled ‘The White POTUS’, the actress shared her discontent on her Instagram Stories. She said that while she didn’t mind being made fun of “when it’s clever and in good spirits” there “must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way” to do so.
She went on: "I did find the ‘SNL’ thing mean and unfunny xo. (Felt righteous, might delete later).” She then added in another upload: “Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple of weeks ago.
"Yes, take the p--- for sure - that’s what the show is about - but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?" And she then called out Sarah's ‘Mancunian’ accent in the sketch, as she said: “At least get the accent right, seriously, I respect accuracy even if it’s mean.”
It isn't the first time the. She was previously praised for embracing her natural smile. Appearing on she had discussed the "impact" her teeth were having on audiences.
Actor, broadcaster and fellow guest on the show, Stephen Fry, started the conversation, saying: “You’ve obviously made an enormous number of people happy by not changing your teeth. You know they’re notable like my bent nose. You obviously had a time when some people would have told you, ‘Oh, you should get those corrected, ’ but you stood up for them."
Aimee jokingly responded: “I can’t believe the impact my teeth are having. The Americans can’t believe it”.
