Priyank Panchal, who played for Gujarat in domestic cricket, retired from first class cricket at the age of 35. He scored more than 8 thousand runs in first class cricket. Opener Priyank played more than 250 matches in domestic cricket.
Priyank was selected in the Indian team in the year 2021. He was included in the team after Rohit Sharma got injured during the South Africa tour but he did not get a chance to debut.

Announcing his retirement from first-class cricket on his social media, he wrote, "Growing up, everyone looks up to their father, idolises them, gets inspired, and tries to impress them, I was no different. My father was a source of strength for me for a long time, I am overwhelmed by the energy he gave me, the way he encouraged me to chase my dreams, to rise from a relatively small town and dare to aspire to wear the India cap one day. He left us long ago, and it was a dream I carried with me for almost two decades, every season, till today. I, Priyank Panchal, announce my retirement from first-class cricket with immediate effect. It is an emotional moment. It is a rich moment. And it is a moment that fills me with immense gratitude."
Priyank Panchal Domestic Career
Priyank, who played for Gujarat and West Zone, scored 8856 runs in 127 first class matches at an average of 45.18. This includes 29 centuries and 34 half-centuries. He also has 16 wickets to his name in first class.
He has scored 3672 runs in 97 List A matches and 1522 runs in 59 T20 matches. He has 8 centuries and 21 half-centuries to his name in List A.
