Amid the controversy, Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Somi Ali urged the Bishnoi gang to forgive Salman so that the bloody conflict could end. She said, "Salman was not aware that the blackbuck is worshipped, it is respected as a deer in the Bishnoi community. I want to apologize on their behalf so that they stop harassing Salman."

She also said that she has had no personal contact with Salman since 2012. This is not a publicity stunt, she is doing all this because she does not want anyone to be murdered. Whether it is her neighbor, someone's friend, or anyone else, no one should be murdered. She does not want any publicity from this.

She said- "I am against violence. I have gone hunting with Salman many times. I will meet Lawrence Bishnoi in November and ask him to end this controversy. If you put this thing in the mind of a child that Salman has killed your God, what will he understand? He is 33 years old now.
