Haryana CM Nayab Saini Pledges Good Governance and Welfare Initiatives

Chandigarh: Hours after being sworn in, Haryana's newly elected Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, expressed his gratitude to the people of the state and promised to work with energy and enthusiasm for good governance, equality, and the welfare of the poor.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), CM Saini thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving him the opportunity to serve as the "Chief Servant of Haryana." He said, "First of all, my heartfelt gratitude to my 2.80 crore family members for the mandate that has continued the development and reconstruction of Haryana. I am thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving me, a worker from a common family, the opportunity to serve as the Chief Servant of Haryana."

He further added, "Prime Minister, your special affection for Haryana gives us limitless energy to work continuously. Under your inspirational leadership, Haryana is reaching new heights of development every day. This uninterrupted journey of progress will continue in the state."

CM Saini reiterated the BJP government’s commitment, stating, "For the third time, with a full majority, the BJP government will work with full energy and enthusiasm for good governance, equality, and the welfare of the poor."

Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second time under the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government. The oath of office was administered by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at a ceremony held at Dussehra Ground in Sector 5, Panchkula.

Several prominent leaders attended the event, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Rajiv Ranjan Singh. Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states, such as Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), Bhupendra Patel (Gujarat), and Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), were also present.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Anil Vij, along with MLAs like Shruti Choudhary, were inducted as ministers in CM Saini's Cabinet. Other BJP MLAs, including Arti Singh Rao (Ateli), Rajesh Nagar (Tigaon), Gaurav Gautam (Palwal), Arvind Kumar Sharma (Gohana), Shyam Singh Rana (Radaur), Ranbir Singh Gangwa (Barwala), and Krishan Bedi (Narwana), also took their oaths as ministers in the Haryana government.

Additional cabinet ministers sworn in included MLAs Krishan Lal Panwar (Israna), Rao Narbir Singh (Badshahpur), Mahipal Dhanda (Panipat), Vipul Goel (Faridabad), Shruti Choudhry (Toshan), and former Deputy CM Anil Vij (Ambala Cantt). The BJP is forming its third consecutive government in Haryana after winning 48 out of 90 seats in the assembly elections, while the Congress secured 37 seats.
