Mumbai: Ram Gopal Varma may have found his new muse in gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
At a time when the film industry is grieving the loss of Baba Siddique, Bishnoi’s looks seem to have caught RGV’s attention.
The filmmaker is mulling a biopic on the ‘good looking’ gangster, but feels no film star is as ‘good looking’ as Lawrence to play his role in the biopic.
Sharing a photo of Lawrence on X, RGV wrote, “If a film is based on the BIGGEST GANGSTER , no film maker will cast a guy who looks like DAWOOD IBRAHIM or CHOTA RAJAN ..But here , I don’t know a single FILM STAR who is more GOOD LOOKING than B.”

Netizens had a mixed reaction to RGV’s post. While some suggested that he should sign Salman Khan to play the lead role in Bishnoi’s biopic, others advised the filmmaker to cast the gangster as a hero in his own biopic.
“Casting Salman Khan as a Lawrence will be the biggest irony (smile emoji),” wrote an X user.
“Let him do his own role. I hope you direct his biography,” wrote another.
“RGV’s new found Crush! (laughing with tears emoji),” commented one person.
“That’s a good point! It’s like Hollywood casting supermodels to play gritty detectives — you rarely see a realistic match. If Bishnoi’s life ever makes it to the big screen, they’ll probably go for someone way more glamorous, making it a ‘Bollywood’ version in every sense,” wrote another.
RGV advised Salman to give a befitting reply to Bishnoi, who got the actor’s dear friend Baba Siddique murdered.
“I wish @BeingSalmanKhan will give a SUPER COUNTER THREAT to B or otherwise , it will look like a COWARDICE of the TIGER STAR ..S K owes it to his fans to rise up as the BIGGER SUPER HERO in comparison to B,” read RGV’s post.

On October 12, politician Siddique was shot dead and the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder. The gang also threatened to kill those who support Salman.
The gang has been threatening and attacking Salman ever since the infamous black buck poaching case.
