Just six gameweeks remain of the season, which means there are just six more opportunities for managers to score points. A full weekend of Premier League action awaits this weekend, with all 20 teams in action between Saturday and Monday evening.

But with teams playing in European competitions across the last few days, the threat of injuries ahead of GW33 still looms large. Ahead of this weekend's action, Express Sport have detailed all of the latest injury and fitness news for the FPL players who could make the difference.

Ollie Watkins - Aston Villa

You'd be forgiven for thinking Ollie Watkins is injured, such has been his lack of starts in recent weeks. While he has been nursing a slight knee injury, the striker admitted he's unhappy with his current minutes under Unai Emery. Speaking in mid-week, he said: "For me, I'm not happy to sit on the bench. It's disappointing every game that I'm on the bench, but it's the manager's decision at the end of the day."

Phil Foden - Manchester City

It's been a frustrating campaign for last year's Player of the Season, who has been battling form and injury issues throughout. His latest knock saw him sit out Manchester City's victory over Crystal Palace, but manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed he's fit and firing to go ahead of the reigning champions' trip to Goodison Park on Saturday.

Justin Kluivert - Bournemouth

It's now three matches in a row that Justin Kluivert has missed for Bournemouth, having picked up an injury against City during last month's FA Cup quarter-final. That could be about to change this weekend, with manager Andoni Iraola admitting the Dutchman is expected to return to the squad for their upcoming clash against Crystal Palace. Speaking earlier this week, he explained: "I think Justin will be available if he trains normal, and that's the plan, and everything goes normal, he's going to be available."

Ola Aina - Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest appear to have been dragged back into the race for Champions League football, with the East Midlands outfit having slipped down to fourth in the table. They've got a crucial clash at home to Tottenham to come on Monday, but Ola Aina is a doubt for the match. Commenting on the defender's injury, Nuno Espirito Santo said: "It is going to be assessed day by day. I don't know how many hours he spends at the training ground receiving treatment, so we are trying to have him back as soon as possible."

Trent Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool

From one right back to another, Trent Alexander-Arnold's last appearance in a Liverpool shirt came against Paris Saint-Germain last month. There had been some fear that it might've been his last appearance for the Reds, given the expectation is that he will join Real Madrid on a free transfer. Arne Slot flirted with the idea that the Englishman could return to the squad, hinting: "[He is] not [ready] to start but if things go well today and tomorrow, he might - might - be on the bench."
