Prince William has sent royal fans into a frenzy tonight as he attends an event in London wearing a velvet navy suit jacket.
The future King, 42, at the British Museum in London to honour the remarkable achievements of former homeless young people who have transformed their lives.
, who is due to make a speech at the event, turned up at around 7.30pm, surprising fans with his velvet jacket and bowtie look.
Photographs of the prince have since been shared on social media by impressed fans, with one even labelling William "Prince Charming".
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one user wrote: "Prince William is looking dapper and handsome at the Centrepoint awards tonight."
Another said: "Prince William looks dashing in his velvet suit."

The prince's appearance comes just hours after Prince William: We Can End Homelessness.
