and Meghan Markle reportedly invited Brooklyn Beckham - the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham - and his wife Nicola Peltz to a catered dinner party at their Montecito home after reports that Brooklyn has fallen out with the rest of the Beckham family.
Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, were reportedly unexpectedly invited to the 'secret' gathering last week, which was attended by a select few of Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle's friends. This included Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy.
It is believed Harry and Meghan, 43, used to be close with David and Victoria Beckham, however had a falling out after Meghan believed the fashion designer was leaking stories about her to the press - claims which have never been proven. At the time, Harry reportedly contacted David about the issue.
A source has now said , 26, and his wife following the reported family feud, which has reportedly left the rest of the Beckhams "distraught". Talking about the intimate dinner, a source told : "Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both. Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar.
"Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a 'deep n' meaningful' as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers - the women to tear apart their husbands' families. Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her, and said there was shared common ground. They didn't meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence."
The news of the meeting comes after Princess Kate attended a royal engagement , which some believe is a show of "solidarity" to her friend.
