Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa no longer follow each other on Instagram as rumours circle that the power couple may have split. Both players were off the boil at Wimbledon and lost in the first round on Monday.

Tsitsipas gave a heartbreaking interview after retiring while two sets down against qualifier Valentin Royer. Later in the day on Centre Court, No. 9 seed Badosa lost in three sets to Katie Boulter.

And there are now strong suggestions that the pair are no longer in a relationship. Tsitsipas has removed all photos of Badosa from his Instagram page.

The tennis stars first went public with their relationship in 2023 but temporarily broke up last summer. After splitting for three weeks, they rekindled their romance. But Tsitsidosa may be no more after distance has been added to their social media profiles.

After crashing out of the first round at Wimbledon, Tsitsipas gave a worrying interview where he said: "It's tough to describe. I mean, I'm battling many wars these days. It's really painful to see myself in a situation like this," he said after his first-round retirement.

"I feel like I'm left without answers. I don't know. I've tried everything. I've done an incredible job with my fitness. I've done an incredible job with my physiotherapy, so I've maximized on everything that I possibly can do.

"Right now, I'm just absolutely left with no answers. I don't know what to do."

They are still due to play together in the US Open mixed doubles event later this year. After announcing the pairing, Tsitsipas said: "I believe it's honestly one of the best feelings to be sharing the court with Paula.

"I've had a few instances where we played some mixed doubles and it worked out pretty well. We were able to enjoy the company of one another on the tennis court and make something great out of it."
