Bengaluru: Karnataka's capital Bengaluru is expected to witness week-long rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert for the city on Saturday. The IT hub of India, will experience rainfall till October 24. The maximum temperature is expected to hover at 28 degrees Celsius and minimum will settle around 20 degrees Celsius.

Weekly Forecast By IMD Bengaluru is likely to witness a generally cloudy sky over the next few days, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms. On October 19, temperatures will range from 20 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius. The same weather is expected on October 20 and 21, with a few spells of rain or thunderstorms possible. On October 22, there will be light rain, while October 23 and 24 are likely to see more steady rainfall. Overall, residents should prepare for wet weather throughout the week. The maximum temperature will be around 28 degrees Celsius and minimum will be around 20 degrees Celsius, according to weather report issued by the met department. Massive Waterlogging Across Bengaluru Heavy rainfall lashed the city on Tuesday, causing severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions across Bengaluru. In one such incident, a video surfaced on social media showing Bengaluru's popular being heavily flooded. Additionally, the incessant showers converted a construction site near Manyata Tech Park into a waterfall. Several major roads in North Bengaluru, including nearby areas of Kogilu, Begalur, and Ballari Road, were submerged.
