Shah Rukh Khan Quips 'Not Stereotyped, I'm Hero Type', Wishes To Play Assassin: I've A New Way Of Playing A Bad Guy

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most popular actors in the industry. He has mesmerised us time and again with stellar performances in films like Pardes, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Baazigar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Devdas, Chak De! India, Om Shanti Om, My Name Is Khan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Raees among others. SRK attended the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival in August this year. Not only that, he appeared in an episode of the podcast Locarno Meets, where he was asked if there was any role he has not done yet and is willing to do. In reply, Shah Rukh said he would love to play different types of roles but wasn’t sure if he could play them differently. Shah Rukh added, "I am not stereotyped; I am a hero type."

SRK on playing a bad guy on screenHe further expressed his desire to portray a bad guy again, saying, "Because I think I have a new way of playing a bad guy." He then mentioned that in 2023, he did some action films and now he wants to play the role of an assassin. He added, "A lot of actors talk to me like, ‘This character won't say this,’ and I’m like, you're the creator of the character." On the work front, Shah Rukh took a break for a couple of years after Zero and made a comeback with his blockbuster film Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone. He then paired up with Nayanthara for the first time in Jawan, which was another superhit. He also worked with director Rajkumar Hirani in Dunki. He will next be seen in King alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan.
