CNN reported that former president Donald Trump's campaign has arranged for the 78-year-old to visit a McDonalds and "work the fry cooker." This comes amid Trump attacking his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris over her claims of having worked at a McDonalds. The news emerged on Monday, with CNN's Kristen Holmes reporting this exclusive scoop. Holmes reported citing a person familiar with the matter that that Trump will be visiting a McDonalds on Sunday in Pennsylvania, as the election day draws closer. Kamala Harris has often claimed that she has worked at a McDonalds while she was in college. The Trump campaign, as well as right-wing commentators like Laura Loomer, have repeatedly questioned the claim and asked for proof of employment from the Vice President. Loomer even went as far ahead as to dig out a CV from Harris' college days to pint out that her stint at McDonalds was not mentioned in it. Harris, despite not having provided the specific details her job at McDonalds, has continued to maintain that she did it. Last month, Donald Trump questioned Harris' claim of working at a McDonald's at a campaign rally in Arizona. When he did it again at a rally in Pennsylvania later, he said he would like to “work the french fry job for about a half an hour.” It looks like the campaign team has worked out a way for the former president to fulfill his wishes of working at McDonalds. It remains to be seen how the campaign brands it and promotes it for the November elections. The Kamala Harris campaign has, meanwhile, officially maintained that she worked at McDonald's in California back in the 1980s when she was a student.
