Rourkela: Rajgangpur police registered case against four persons on Tuesday night for allegedly attempting to kill their friend by opening fire at him from a pistol.
The youth, Md.Samser (19), who sustained injuries on his arm was operated upon on Wednesday in a private hospital here. The injured youth was with his four friends and they were reportedly practising how to shoot from a pistol, when the incident took place.
His four friends took him to Rajgangpur CHC and fled after admitting him. Hospital authorities informed police about it. Later, Samser was shifted to a private hospital. His brother, Md.Gulab, lodged an FIR in Rajgangpur police station.
