UPSC NDA 1 result 2025 expected to release soon: Check where and how to download scorecards once released

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to announce the results of the National Defence Academy ( NDA ) and Naval Academy (NA) examination (I), 2025 on its official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates are also advised to regularly check upsconline.gov.in for any updates regarding the result. The written examination was conducted on April 13, 2025, and the results are expected to be declared soon. This year, the recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 406 vacancies across the NDA and NA.

What happens after the written exam?

The UPSC NDA selection process is divided into two main stages: A written test followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. After the written exam results are published, a merit list will be prepared, and shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB interview.

The written exam comprised two papers, each lasting 150 minutes — Mathematics, carrying 300 marks, and the General Ability Test (GAT), worth 600 marks. All questions were objective-type, and the papers were available in both Hindi and English.

The SSB interview, which assesses intelligence and personality, is also conducted in two stages and carries a total of 900 marks. Only those candidates who successfully clear the first stage will proceed to the second. Moreover, candidates aiming for admission into the Air Force must pass the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) evaluation.
