It’s heartbreaking news that’s been shaking the online community. Trigg Kiser , the three year old son of Emilie Kiser , a popular social media creator known for sharing her life as a mom has died after a frightening pool accident .
According to reports from Chandler, Arizona, little Trigg was pulled from a backyard pool after what officials say was a drowning incident. Emergency responders rushed to the scene. Emilie’s fans have been sending an outpouring of love and prayers for Trigg’s recovery.
Media reports have said that Trigg's death was confirmed to them by the police. "In a statement issued on behalf of the Chandler Police Department, spokesperson Sonu Wasu tells PEOPLE that Trigg was hospitalized after authorities responded to a drowning call on May 12. The toddler died on May 18, per Wasu's confirmation," the media outlet reported.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child's family and loved ones during this unimaginable time," the official statement by the local police reads. "The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation," Wasu's statement continues. "Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed," it reported.
Emilie Kiser and her husband Brady Kiser are parents to Trigg and Theodore. Emilie has over 3.1 million followers on TikTok and another million on Instagram. Emilie and her family have not confirmed the news as of now.
Netizens have poured condolences for the family. "if the rumor is true about emilie kiser i’m actually going to be sick," writes one user. "Insights into Emilie Kiser’s last moments with her son Trigg Kiser reveal a mother’s joy. Just a week before tragic news, she shared heartfelt videos on Instagram, celebrating motherhood and expressing gratitude for her family," writes another.
Netizens have also highlighted the occurrence of pool accidents and why should be extra careful about kids' safety. Pool accidents are one of the leading causes of accidental injury and death in young children, which makes safety around water especially important. Experts always remind parents and caregivers to keep a close eye on little ones around pools, even if they’re strong swimmers. Accidents can happen in seconds, and being prepared can save lives.
For many, this incident is a painful reminder to double down on water safety — whether that means installing pool fences, having proper supervision, or learning CPR. It’s a scary situation no parent ever wants to face, but awareness and prevention can make a huge difference.
