Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a fashion statement as she stepped out to unveil the trailer of ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ in Mumbai. The event was attended by the show’s lead actor Varun Dhawan, directors Raj and DK and other cast and crew members where they addressed the media at the big event.
At the trailer launch event of ‘Citadel’, Samantha was asked what she thinks about the female star power the world of cinema is taking forward. To this, the actress replied, “I know it sounds really cool that the future is female but I would like for it to be equal, like an equal playing field maybe where intelligence, talent and strength decides your fate irrespective of gender. I think that would be an amazing place to be and I am also very happy to be part of this world where that has already started to take center stage. And also just the opportunity to work with talent from across the world. It’s already, the platform has already just become so much wider. The opportunities, everything seems like the future seems bright for everyone.”
On October 15, the makers of ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ unveiled a teaser for the suspenseful spy series. It's time for fans of the Russo Brothers' spy action thriller series to tune into the homegrown Indian edition, following the British and Italian releases. ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, which stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is helmed by Raj & DK, who are best known for their iconic spy thriller series like ‘Farzi’ and ‘The Family Man’.
