Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat are known for their close bond and camaraderie. The duo often talks about how they have supported each other through the ups and downs of their careers.
In a recent chat, Jaideep shared his admiration for Vijay’s roles, highlighting his performances in 'Gully Boy' and 'Dahaad'. However, he was particularly impressed by Vijay’s acting in 'IC814'.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jaideep said that he loved Vijay in both 'Gully Boy' and 'Dahaad', but Vijay’s recent OTT release 'IC814' was especially challenging to portray. “Because, in the whole film, you are sitting in one seat. It’s not easy to handle that job — sitting on a chair and shooting for 6-7 episodes. I didn’t realize this while watching it, but it’s not easy to play that character,” he added.

Vijay reciprocated by acknowledging Jaideep’s unwavering support, saying, “He’s been present at every film screening and premiere of mine.” Their bond goes beyond work, stemming from their time together at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).
'IC814: The Kandahar Hijack' is a crime thriller drama about the hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight 814 in 1999. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, it also features Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza, and Arvind Swamy in key roles.
On the work front, Vijay Varma will next be seen in 'Ul Jalool Ishq'. He is also working on 'Matka King', starring Varun Tej Konidela.
Meanwhile, Jaideep Ahlawat will return in the much-awaited second season of *Paatal Lok* on Prime Video. He will also appear in 'Ikkis' alongside veteran actor Dharmendra and Agastya Nanda.
