Triple H has made some shocking WWE releases this year.

The new regime of WWE , led by Triple H, has been taking drastic measures to ensure the company's financial success. This has resulted in the release of many talented and top-tier WWE superstars, including some established stars and others who were on the rise as the next big attractions. However, his decision did not sit well with the large wrestling fan base. Here are the top five releases that might not have been the best decision for business:

5. Cora Jade
The Generation of Jade was looking to become the next rising star in WWE's developmental territory, NXT. Cora Jade had been making significant strides in the Black and Grey brand during her tenure. Even after her return from injury, Jade was rising to the occasion, with many believing her to become the NXT Women's Champion soon. However, her release came as a huge shock and was not the best decision by Triple H and company.

4. Shayna Baszler
Shayna Baszler was one of the most dangerous and dominant women in WWE NXT history. However, right after her loss to Becky Lynch, her push on the main roster went nowhere. Yet, she continued to put in dominant performances and needed a push to ascend to the next level. However, Triple H did not give her that opportunity despite her immense potential, and she eventually found herself out the door.

3. Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman was one of the most accomplished WWE superstars on the roster. Despite having won multiple titles and faced top stars, The Monster was not utilised properly during his second run. His lackluster tenure and higher salary resulted in him being cut from the roster, which led to the company losing a top and dominant star of the modern era.

2. Dakota Kai
Dakota Kai was the epitome of hard work and resilience, who came back strong after every hurdle and setback. This led to her gaining immense popularity among fans. Despite that, she was released from WWE which led to an huge uproar among fans who were not pleased with the decision made by Triple H and his regime.

1. R-Truth
R-Truth had been a loyal and popular WWE veteran for years. He had been entertaining the fans for decades with his comedic antics and impressive in-ring style. Despite having just wrestled John Cena at a major WWE show, he announced that his contract would not be renewed, which was a huge disappointment, not only to fans, but also to his fellow peers.
