Chelsea Green reacts to Matt Cardona’s career status
After Matt Cardona’s candid revelation of his current career prospect sharing that he has not received any call from WWE or AEW, his wife, Chelsea Green responded to the news on social media.

Supporting her husband, Green wrote, “In the end, he will land where he’s meant to land because he is the most talented & creative man I know.”

However, things briefly escalated as a fan made a rude comment about the couple tagging them as jobbers. Green did not hold back as she decided to take a jibe at the fan, “Oh…I hope someone shows you the love and attention you so desperately need,” she responded.

As for Cardona, he made his AEW debut in 2020, shortly after his WWE release, briefly getting involved in Cody Rhodes' feud with the Dark Order. However, AEW didn't extend his stay.

In March 2024, Cardona returned as a surprise challenger for Adam Copeland's TNT Championship, earning a strong crowd reaction. Despite his well-received performance, he left again without an offer, expressing in a recent interview with Walkway to Fight Club podcast, that it was a tough experience to accept.

"I don't like being this big fish in a small pond," Cardona said in the interview. "If WWE or AEW called and there was a good offer with some intent to use me a certain way, of course, I'd have that conversation. But I'm not gonna BS it, I haven't gotten an offer from either of those two companies," he continued.

Reportedly, Cardona has returned to the indies after recovering from a torn pectoral muscle.
