“Life in baseball isn't always glamorous— sometimes it means packing up your life (again), saying goodbye to routines (again), and starting fresh in a new city (again). The constant moving, the uncertainty, the emotional toll... it adds up.
But then you meet people like Marci and Mark Canha, who remind us that home isn't a place-it's the trust you build together.“
Further, Katia explained:
”In a lifestyle that demands flexibility, sacrifice, and a whole lot of resilience, they've learned how to stay grounded. Whether it's navigating long-distance stretches or raising two kids while balancing careers and travel, their anchor has always been trust—in their partnership, in their process, and in each other.
This episode is about the behind-the-scenes reality of baseball life-and the love and commitment that holds it all together.”
Mark Cunha’s wife Marci says communication and trust go a long way

“Mark and I have known each other for so long, there's a huge comfort level, we try to communicate and keep the lines of communication open all the time, know that you can trust the other person to make the right decision, and do everything that you need to do.”
Further, Marci said:
“You know Katia, baseball moms are another breed, we can be trusted to have everything, get everything done, everybody packed, figure out logistics, schedule, and you make sure everybody has everything they need, and it’s a lot of stress and Mark knows he can trust me.”
