McLaren faces the Miami heat but Oscar Piastri ’s strong performance saving the day

McLaren has been feeling the pressure , being in the middle of big names, but their driver, Oscar Piastri has had a stunning season in Formula 1. He won races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Piastri’s strong performance has made him a favorite for the championship.

While his teammate Lando Norris is struggling, especially in qualifying. Norris could improve and work on his starting positions. Now Norris is returning to Miami, where he had a victory last year, he’s hoping to turn things around and regain his title. While Piastri managed to secure 99 points, Norris secured 89 points, so far.

Red Bull pins hopes on Max Verstappen as Miami GP heats up
For Red Bull, their ace driver, Max Verstappen has been their strongest contender in the championship race. Had Verstappen secured a top spot in Jeddah, rather than the second position, he would have been leading the title. One could call Verstappen a threat to McLaren, given his car and his performance in Formula 1, so far. Verstappen has secured at least 87 points.

George Russel and Mercedes are working on different challenges

While Mercedes struggled in the Saudi Arabia circuit, primarily because of the issues the car was facing with tyre wear in hot temperature, their driver, George Russell , has been facing the heat, and has to work hard to move his level up above.

Now that Maimi is feeling a similar challenge for Russel and Mercedes, it will be interesting to see how they work their way out. Russel has managed to score 73 points.

Charles Leclerc and Ferrari’s focus on consistency could be a game changer

Not everything is going well with Ferrari, as they are far away from the F1 title race, and need quick and reliable improvements.

Their driver, Charles Leclerc has managed to score 47 points, but he’s way behind the top scorers. Leclerc managed to have a win at the third spot in Saudi Arabia. Consistently is key for Ferrari, at the moment, experts suggest.
