WWE Hall of Famer and father of the Uso’s, Rikishi found himself at loggerheads with wrestling veteran Vince Russo , over the topic of Jey Uso becoming overly emotional after winning the Intercontinental Championship . The matter became serious when Rikishi challenged Russo for a one-on-one fight. Another Wrestling veteran Bill Apter has now come in support of Rikishi in this wild argument.
Recently Russo had given his opinion on Jey Uso and stated that Jey’s sentimental outburst was gimmicky and seemed too much, given that it was just for the Intercontinental Title. He went on to call the Intercontinental belt a “prop”, which in the end infuriated Jay Uso’s father and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. The Samoan heavyweight was so enraged that he even called out Vince for one on one fight. Now, while talking at “Sportskeeda’s UnSKripted” the legendary Bill Apter has given his two cents on the issue and is in agreement with Rikishi’s perspective. Although he respects Russo too, he totally understood Rikishi’s wild reaction.
“When he called you know, that belt is just a “prop”, why go crazy, to me the whole feel of bringing the entertainment value and the Pro Wrestling value to the fans and to yourself, even though yes it's a writer and a producer that gave you all this, it's the big promotion and to the company you've always wanted. So when I read that he (Russo) just called it a “prop”, it just knocked me out because I can't look at it that way and I never will. And I understand why Rikishi was so “POed” about it." said Bill, while speaking at Sportskeeda ’s UnSKcripted”. Who do you think is wrong in this heated debate? Drop your opinions below.

Hearing this- Vince had Rikishi dancing in a thong for most of his WWE run. Granted it was over but this was the best mic work I’ve ever heard from him 😂 https://t.co/eNklXgooDM
