NEW DELHI: Shubman Gill continued his fine form in the ongoing Test series against the West Indies, breaking Virat Kohli’s record for the most runs by an Indian in the ICC World Test Championship. The young opener notched up his second consecutive half-century, following his fifty in the opening Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Gill’s consistent run-scoring has now propelled him past Kohli in the ICC World Test Championship standings for India.
