Google has announced plans to expand its Gemini AI assistant to a wide range of devices, including cars, smartwatches, and headphones, by the end of 2025. The announcement, made during Alphabet’s Q1 2025 earnings call, highlights Google’s commitment to integrating AI across its ecosystem to enhance user experiences.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed the rollout, stating, “We’re upgrading Google Assistant on mobile devices to Gemini, and later this year we’ll upgrade tablets, cars, and devices that connect to your phone, such as headphones and watches.”

The integration of Gemini promises smarter voice commands, faster responses, and improved functionality across devices. For Wear OS smartwatches, Gemini will enhance fitness tracking, notifications, and voice interactions, while Android Auto users can expect a more intuitive driving experience.
