The deceased has been identified as Yansika (8), daughter of Tilakraj Bhatt, a resident of Pattandur. Her younger sister, Himanshika (6), sustained injuries but is reportedly out of danger.
The incident occurred around 12 PM near the bund of the Pattandur Lake.
